Mega Dance Contest
|
|
Bhavan's Navi Mumbai Kendra organised a mega dance contest on April 22, 2017. A hundred and two teams participated in the below 16 and above 16 age groups. The students were from various dance academies, schools, colleges, etc. The Supermoms Group won the first prize in the above 16 group folk dance. In the below 16 group, Amrita Vidyalayam and Krisscross academy won the first and second prizes. The third prize in this category was shared by NDA Academy and Swady Group. The Koravanji dance of Karnataka was an added attraction. Smt. Sandhya Salian Kamath of the Nupur Dance Academy was the chief guest and choreographer Swadesh Eknath Varankarheaded the panel of judges.
