2017 has been a year of awards for Bhavan's Vidyalaya, Chandigarh. Vidyalaya's principal Smt. Vineeta Arora, Sr. Principal and Smt. Soma Mukhopadhyay were conferred the prestigious National Award for Teachers (CBSE Schools-2016). Smt. Arora with more than 29 years of teaching experience has been at the helm of the Vidyalaya since 2008. Smt. Mukhopadyay was selected for the award for using ICT for innovations in Education-2016.
Smt. Radha Bahuguna, Senior Economic Teacher of the Vidyalaya was awarded Bhavan's Jindal Award for the best teacher-2016.
