Dr. Upendra Kaushik, Regional Education Officer (North and North-Eastern Region) Bhavan's Shikshan Bharati and Chairman, Bhavan's V.M. Public School, Vadodara was conferred the 'Dr. A.P.J. Abdul Kalam Excellence Award - 2017' for his valuable contribution and achievements in the field of education in a function organized by the Citizens Integration Peace Institute, New Delhi, to mark the 86th birth anniversary of Bharat Ratna Dr. A.P.J. Abdul Kalam on 15th October, 2017.
On this occasion, Hon'ble Shri Shivraj V. Patil, Former Speaker Lok Sabha, Union Home Minister and Governor of Punjab was the Chief Guest and Hon'ble Dr. Bhishma Narian Singh, Former Governor and Union Minister was the Guest of Honour.
