Bhavan's Sri Venkateswara Vidyalaya, Tirupati recently conducted various programmes which included the 12th Sravana Sangeetha Lahari - a ballet on the theme Shadkashetra Gaatha, signifying the six abodes of Lord Muruga. This was a new experience for the students, parents and a large number of citizens of Tirupati. Smt. S. Indira, Principal welcomed the distinguished invitees. Dr. N. Satyanarayana Raju, Director & Treasurer of the Kendra, presided over the function. Gaana Vaadya Vachaspathi Dr. Komanduri Seshadri, renowned Musician, Vocalist and Violinist was the Guest of Honour who in his brief address explained the importance of organising programmes on performing arts. Students would be able to achieve higher levels of concentration in their studies through this. Shri Anil Kumar Singh, IAS, Executive Officer of Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams & Chairman of Bhavan's Tirupati Kendra congratulated the parents for having admitted their children to Bhavan's schools as it gives importance to academics, culture, arts and sports - the essential components towards grooming individual personality.
