Swachhta Pakhwada was celebrated with great enthusiasm at Bhavan's G. K. Vidyamandir in September and several cleanliness activities were conducted within the campus. At the outset, the students, staff and administrators took the Swachhta Pledge, to keep the Motherland clean and then conducted cleanliness drive in and around the campus. Weeds from institute's lawns and gardens were uprooted and all the buildings, classrooms, corridors and washrooms were cleaned.
As part of the Swachh Bharat Abhiyan 'Swachhta Pakhwada', the school organized various other activities such as a seminar on environmental issues to create awareness among the students, and painting competitions in both the Primary and Secondary Sections. Parents and teachers also submitted paintings on Swachh Bharat which were put on display. A quiz contest was held for the primary students on cleanliness and other environmental issues. The students also wrote their views on the Swachh Bharat Abhiyan. A seminar was held by Dr. Paromita Chatterjee from Medica, enlightening the students on personal health and hygiene.
