Bharatiya Vidya Bhavan, Kochi Kendra in collaboration with Spic Macay organized a musical performance at Bhavan's Vidya Mandir, Eroor on 20 September, 2017. It was a lecture demonstration cum performance by the renowned exponent of Indian Classical Guitar and Vocal Music, Vidushi Dr Kamala Shankar. She gave a soulful rendition on Shankar Guitar, an improvisation of the western Hawaiian Guitar. Sri Nisar Ahemmad and Sri Nirmal Saini accompanied her with Tabala and Shankar Guitar.
