A bust of of Kulapati Munshiji, founder of Bharatiya Vidya Bhavan, was unveiled at the campus of Bhavan's Kolkata Kendra at Salt Lake, on December 6, 2017 on the occasion of the Foundation Day of the Kendra. by Swami Swaroopanandaji, Head of Chinmaya Mission Worldwide unveiled the bust. Present on the occasion were Swami Chaitanyanandji of Chinmaya Mission, Kolkata, Justice Chittatosh Mookerjee, Chairman of the Kendra, Sri Prasun Mukherjee, Executive Vice Chairman of the Kendra and Kendra Director Shri G.V. Subramanian. Justice Mookerjee's inspiring speech was followed by the release of Ripples, the school magazine and a soul-stirring speech and an interactive session by Swami Swaroopanandaji.
