Kulapati K. M. Munshi's one of the dreams was to popularize Samskrita. In keeping this view in mind BVB, Mysore Kendra organized its annual event Samskritotsava on 7th July 2018. Dr. Shivarajappa, Director, Oriental Research Institute, Mysore University was the Chief Guest. In his address he emphasized on how Samskrita played the role of a mother in the development of various classical languages of India like, Kannada, Tamil, Telugu and Malayalam. The dignitaries who were present on this occasion were Sri N. Ramanuja (Chairman, BPBIM), Dr. A. T. Bhashyam (Director Academics), Sri P. S. Ganapathy (Hon. Secretary). It was presided over by Prof. A. V. Narasimha Murthy, Chairman, BVB, Mysore Kendra. On this occasion many Samskrita Competitions such as reciting Bhagvadgta, Quiz on our epics etc were held in which more than 25 schools participated.
The programme was coordinated by Samskrita Teacher Smt. Kalavati and organized by the Principal Smt. Vijaya Narasimham.
