School Eco Club
|
Bhavan’s Vidya Mandir, Poochatty has an Eco Club with Class IX students as its members. The first project of this club was to assist local farmers in Green Valley, an agricultural area near the school. This venture was started by the Club-in-charge, Smt. Anjusha Vasudevan and teachers Deepa, Geetha and school librarian Shri Jayarajan.
After months of painstaking toil, the students of the club brought back their first harvest - a sack full of fresh bitter gourds grown organically in the area, to be distributed among the Eco-club members.
The school is proud of the efforts of the club.
