The Chennai Kendra director, Shri K.N. Ramaswamy, was bestowed the 'Sangeetha Seva Rathna' award by The Music Forum, Chennai at a function held at the Music Academy, in recognition of his contribution to music. Dr. Sundar, the Convenor of Music Forum and Dr. Sumathi Krishnan, the Secretary of the Music Academy acknowledged Shri Ramaswamy's contributions to the music world. Shri Ramaswamy dedicated the award to the Bhavan, as it was the platform from which he had rendered his service to the world of music.
