The 6th Inter-school Cultural Contest was conducted by the Navi Mumbai Kendra of Bhavan on December 1, 2018 at the Marathi Sahitya Mandal Hall, Vashi. The participation of more than 300 children from various nodes of Navi Mumbai made the event a remarkable one, with noticeable progress from previous years. CIDCO Town Planner, Amritha Pai, was the Chief Guest. The Under 10 category students from Anchorwala School presented an excellent 'Thiruvathira Kali' (a dance form of Kerala), a Goan dance, a Maharashtrian folk dance and the Gujarati Dandiya. Students from RF Naik School, Koparkhairane, presented items rich in Marathi culture and history while Amrita Vidyalayam presented an interesting folk dance from North Eastern India. Children from Podar School and Rama Krishna Academy also performed well. The prize winners were:
