Bhavan's Vidya Mandir, Elamakkara has been awarded the Kulapati Munshi Award for the Best School -2012. The award has been given to the school in recognition of its commendable activities in academics, cultural, literary and sports activities. The school was chosen for this award out of 85 Bhavan institutions in India. In a ceremony held at the school, Retd. Justice Shri Padmanabhan Nair, Chairman of Kochi Kendra lauded the efforts of the school and presented the award to the Principal, Smt. Jaya Jacob.
