The faculty from Bhavan's Vidya Mandir, Pathanamthitta conducted a four-week Residential Workshop for Girl Children at NTPC Premises. Kayamkulam, Alappuzha District, Kerala.
The aim of this Girl Empowerment Mission (GEM) Workshop was to empower and educate girls and also for the physical and mental well-being of the students who enter into puberty stage. The training curriculum covered basic academics and life skills including effective communication, cyber safety, awareness of gender diversity and co-curricular activities such as yoga, self defence, drama, dance, arts and crafts.
