Bhavan's Guntur celebrated Dussehra on 3-10-2019. The Chief Guest of the day is Prof. S. V. Ramana, Principal, Hindu College of Management, Guntur. The chief guest spoke about the importance of the ten day festival where Maa Durga is represented in different forms which shows the abilities a woman can posses like Annapurna Devi, which resembles the form of a person who is ready to feed all the time. The next Avathara which shows about Maa Durga who is known for the courage or the shakthi where she takes the form to bring an end to the evil. The children of Bhavan's presented themselves in the attires of DEVI and performed all the ten Avatharas of Maa Durga. Cultural events such as dancing for Sree Mahishasura Marndini Stotram, several devoted songs of Devi were depicted on the stage by the children. The children represented that goodwill always win over the evil through their dances. Kendra's Hon. Secretary sri P.Ramachandra Raaju Hon'Treasurer Sree Majeti Prasad, Sree S. V. S. Lakshmi Narayana, Convenor INTACH, Principal Sree N. V. S. Santha Rao, Parents, Students, Teachers, Non-Teaching Staff, participated in the programme and made it a grand success.
