As part of the Golden Jubilee Celebrations, the Kendra conducted a Special Lecture on 'Empowering the Youth to Enrich the Nation' by Dr B K Krishnaraj Vanavarayar, Chairman Bharatiya Vidya Bhavan, Coimbatore Kendra, on January 19, 2020 at Sardar Patel Sabha Griha.
As Chairman of the Bharatiya Vidya Bhavan, Coimbatore Kendra, Dr. B. K. Krishnaraj Vanavarayar remains committed to preserving and propagating the ancient wisdom and unique pluralistic culture of India. He mentioned that youth empowerment is to be pursued by promoting youth rights and youth activism in community decision making.
Around 600 teachers from all the Bhavan's Schools in Kochi attended the talk.
