To commemorate the Foundation Day of Bharatiya Vidya Bhavan, the Tirupati Kendra organised a Cultural Programme in the school premises on November 7, 2012.
The Chief Guest of the day, Dr. Agarala Eswara Reddi, appreciated the activities of the Bhavan. The Guest of Honour, Prof. P. V. Arunachalam, urged the members of the Bhavan's family to carry forward the spiritual, aesthetic and cultural values promoted by the Bhavan's centres in India and across the world. Dr. N. Satyanarayana Raju, Hony. Director and Treasurer, Bhavan's Tirupati Kendra, in his address recollected the message of Prime Minister Dr. Manmohan Singh about the role played by Bhavan in serving humanity and sowing the seeds of patriotism and humanism through its manifold activities. He also recaptulated the inception of Bhavan's Tirupati Kendra.
Shri P. V. Krishna Reddy, Executive Vice-Chairman, Bharatiya Vidya Bhavan, Tirupati Kendra, motivated the students to imbibe the values embedded in the Bhavan's culture and serve the society as useful citizens.
The cultural programme began with group chanting of the Gita, followed by a skit highlighting the mission and vision of Bharatiya Vidya Bhavan. Bhavan's Anthem was sung by the students paying rich tributes to this noble organisation.
