An enthralling tribute was paid to legendary singer and Bharat Ratna awardee Lata Mangeshkar (1929-2022) by the Cultural Committee, Bharatiya Vidya Bhavan, Chandigarh Kendra at their campus. General (Retd.) V. P. Malik, former Chief of Army Staff graced the occasion as the Chief Guest. He was accompanied by his wife Mrs. Malik. Shri Vivek Atrey was invited as the guest of honour.
The event traced the journey of the legendary singer through the various ups and downs of her life. Various incidents and anecdotes from her life were shared with the audience. Enthralling the audience with their soulful rendition, the singers sang numerous songs sung by Lata.
