Megha Tayal 99.2% Marks
|
Megha Tayal of Class XI A2 has done Bhavan Vidyalaya, Chandigarh, proud by clearing the second level of the National Talent Search Examination (NTSE) 2021. She has been selected from amongst 10,000 candidates who were shortlisted after the first level of the examination that was conducted earlier. Around 2000 candidates have been selected in the second level of this examination. It is notable that Megha was also amongst the top scorers in the Class X Board Examinations held in 2021, with an amazing aggregate of 99.2%.
With this recognition, Megha is awarded a scholarship of Rs.1250 per month throughout her schooling years and Rs. 2000 per month through her undergraduate and postgraduate courses. Further, she would also be compensated through her doctorate years as per UGC norms, along with a host of other special benefits. NTSE scholars are also given a preference over other candidates when they apply to foreign and Indian universities, and are provided extra credit when they take up jobs in various sectors.
