In the CBSE East Zone Swimming Championship, 2011, Greater Noida, Bhavan's Gangabux Kanoria Vidyamandir, made a record by bagging Eleven (11) prizes. Debarati Banerjee of Class IX was awarded the individual Champion Trophy and Abhipsa Dey of Class VIII won two prizes in under - 14 (G) categories. Arjit Pramanik of Class IX won five prizes in under - 16 (B) category. Arjit Pramanik and Debarati Banerjee had qualified for CBSE National Swimming Championship, Bhopal.
