BGKV Prize winners at the Vidyarthi Vigyan Manthan

Vidyarthi Vigyan Manthan is a massive science propagation program announced jointly by Vigyan Prasar and Vijnana Bharati (under Dept. of Science & Technology, Govt. of India), which aims to nurture the spirit of Science among students of classes VI - XII throughout our country. Around 50,000 students participated in this program. It comprised of 3 stages of competition cum learning at the school, state and National level.
BGKV (Bhavan's Gangabux Kanoria Vidya Mandir) Kolkata was the only school among all others in the country to bag 3 prizes at the National Level.
Esanmouli Ghosh of class VI secured the 1st rank, Shreya Giri of Class VII secured the 3rd rank and Shubham Bhattacharya of class IX secured the 1st rank. Apart from Certificates, Mementoes and Books, the 1st rank holders received 31,000/- cash and 3rd rank holder received 11,000/- cash.
