Skating Champions
|
At the UT Inter School Skating & Roller Hockey Tournament held at Chandigarh from August 22 to 24, the Bhavan Vidyalaya Roller Hockey Team U-19 category won the prestigious Gold Medal. The team members include Sahil Ashat, Balkirat Singh, Parth Khungar, Jasleen Singh, Shubhkarman Singh, Manshajeet Singh, Rajkaran Singh, Sarthak Verma and Ayush.
The Skaters also participated in individual events and won the following medals:
- Balkirat Singh Rangi - Silver medal in Rink Race-I (U-19)
- Kshitij Arora - Silver medal in Rink Race-I (U-17)
- Sahil Ashat - Silver medal in Rink Race-II (U-19)
- Saksham Bansal - Gold medal in Rink Race-II (U-14)
Moreover, at the Jeevan Singh Memorial Roller Skating tournament held at Kurukshetra from August 16 and 17, two skaters Sahil Ashat and Parth Khunagar participated and won a cash prize of 20,000/- along with bronze medals.
