Salma Memon, a student of Bhavan's College, Andheri, has been adjudged the "Best NSS Leader" for the year 2012-2013 and was felicitated on September 3, 2013 by Indian Development Foundation(IDF).
Salma has been active with the NSS for the last 5 years and was nominated by the IDF, as a Student Social Ambassador by an NGO working for health, education and development. IDF was established in 1984 as Indian Leprosy Foundation to work for eradication of leprosy and TB. Today it functions as a Knowledge/Execution Partner of Schools, NGOs, Corporate Houses, and Government agencies for development programmes across India.
