Gayathri Shivkumar, a student of Grade 7 of Bhavan's Vidya Mandir Girinagar jumped to a height of 1.59m and broke the U 14 National Record of 1.52m by a huge margin at the 25th National Junior Inter-zone Athletics championship. She won the gold medals in both the U 12 and U 14 categories.
Mathew George Kallarackal of Grade 12 of Bhavan Vidya Mandir, Girinagar is the winner of the Best Student Award instituted by Shikshan Bharati, Mumbai for his scholastic and non-scholastic achievements throughout the year.
