Bharatiya Vidya Bhavan, Pathanamthitta Kendra has ushered in the celebrations of this auspicious year 2012 which marks the 125th birth anniversary of our founder K. M. Munshiji and the 75th year of Bhavan's existence by launching the mobile computer lab 'Knowledge on Wheels' in association with Global Foundation, Mumbai and adopting the tribal colony of Attathodu for its uplift. The event was inaugurated on the 11th February 2012 by the Hon. Minister for Devaswom and Transport Shri. V.S. Sivakumar and presided over by our Chairman Shri. T.K.A. Nair, Principal Advisor to the Prime Minister of India and attended by other dignitaries Mr. Hormis Tharakan, Former D.G.P. Mr. K.V. Sheshadri, CEO of Global Foundation, Mr. Manoj Menon, representatives of local self government bodies, adivasis, parents, staff and students of Bhavan's Vidya Mandir, Pathanamthitta. 40 students enrolled for the first batch.
Food materials and new clothes were donated by the school.
