BGKV prize winners. Shreya Giri (VIII), Rijula Hait (VII) & Amandeep Das (VII)

The Steel Authority of India Ltd. (SAIL) observed "Vigilance Awareness Week" in the month of October and November to emphasise the need for transparency and integrity in all walks of life. To instill a spirit of concern and involvement of the younger generation in elimination of corruption in public life, an inter school Poster and Essay Writing Competition was organised amongst the young students of various reputed schools in and around Kolkata on the topic- "Generation-Y's Role in Eliminating Corruption in Public Life".
Bhavan's Kolkata students Trinoyoni Das and Ananya Bhattacharya secured the 1st and 3rd position and received a cash prize of 1000 & 500 respectively in the Essay Writing Competition, while Shreya Giri, Rijula Hait & Amandeep Das secured the 2nd, 3rd and 4th position and also received a cash prize of 700, 500, & 200 respectively in the Poster Contest.
