The Kolkata Kendra organised an Inter School Folk Dance Competition on January 15, 2014 where over 10 schools participated. Chairman Chittatosh Mookerjee presided over the function and Prof. Kashinath Das, Director Agartala Kendra was the guest of Honour.

Padmavibhushan Dr. Managalampalli Bala-muralikrishna and Banga-bibhushan, Padmashree Pandit Ajoy Chakraborty performed a powerful Jugal Bandhi of Carnatic and Hindustani Vocal Music on January 11, 2014 organised by Kolkata Kendra as a part of their Platinum Jubilee celebration and 125th Birth Anniversary of Kulapati Munshi, in association with the Indian Overseas Bank which is also celebrating its Platinum Jubilee Year and in coordination with Rasika Ranjana Sabha, Kolkata.
The event was appreciated by over 1500 spellbound and enthralled people. The event was presided by Justice Shri Chittatosh Mookerjee, Chairman, Kolkata Kendra, Shri Dhanash Chander, National Banking General Manager, Indian Overseas Bank and Shri S. Mahalingam, President, Rasika Ranjana Sabha.
