The traditional address by the Chairman to all teachers prior to the commencement of the new academic year was held on May 13 at Bhavan's Sardar Patel Sabhagriha, Kochi.
Smt Sreekantha Kumari welcomed the gathering. Shri Ramankutty, Director told the teachers to consider service in Bhavan as a mission and service to the nation. The Chairman, Dr. B. S. Krishnan appreciated the excellent results of the students in the Board exams. Vice Chairman Shri Venugopal C. Govind also addressed the gathering which consisted of over 700 teachers of all the seven schools of Bhavan's Kochi Kendra, the Nursery teachers, the Kendra Committee members, Principals and Education officers. Smt. Parvathy, Vice Principal proposed the vote of thanks.
