Shri P. I. Sherief Muhammad, Hon. Secretary of Bhavan's Pathanamthitta Kendra was in Kolkata where he was received warmly by Dr. Subramanian, secretary of Bhavan Kolkata Kendra. He met Bhavan President Shri Surendralal G. Mehta and had a conversation with him which proved the Chinese proverb that 'A single conversation across the table with a wise man is worth a month's study of books.'
Shri Sherief is a national orator on Indian culture and society. He is a recipient of the justice Sundara Ayer award for Sanskrit promotion and the Rajiv Gandhi Shiromani award for national integration.
